1. Who this app is designed for

My Daily Voice is designed for children ages 5–12, used under parent or guardian supervision. The app is set up by a parent or guardian who creates a PIN-protected Parent Zone before a child uses it.

2. What data we collect

We collect nothing.

My Daily Voice does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data. There are no accounts, no login, no email address required.

The following data is created by the app and stored only on your device:

• Your child's name (entered during setup)
• Voice recordings (captured when your child answers questions)
• Mood selections and reflection dates
• Badge and streak progress
• Your parent PIN (stored as a secure hash — the original PIN is never stored)

None of this data is transmitted to any server, third party, or cloud service.

3. Voice recordings

Voice recordings are stored as audio files in your device's local storage. They are:

• Never transmitted off your device
• Never analyzed, processed, or listened to by us
• Automatically deleted after 90 days
• Deletable at any time from the Parent Zone settings

4. Third-party services

My Daily Voice does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data services. There are no third-party SDKs that collect data.

The voice questions heard in the app are pre-recorded audio files bundled with the app. They are not generated or transmitted at runtime.

5. Children's privacy (COPPA)

We take children's privacy seriously. My Daily Voice is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

• We do not collect personal information from children
• We do not require account creation
• We do not display advertising
• We do not use behavioral tracking
• All data remains on the device under parent control

A parent or guardian acknowledges our data practices during app setup before any child uses the app.

6. Parental controls

The Parent Zone is protected by a PIN set by the parent or guardian. From the Parent Zone, parents can:

• View mood and reflection history
• Add or remove child profiles
• Delete all data and reset the app
• Review this privacy policy

7. Data deletion

To delete all data associated with My Daily Voice:

• Open the app → Parent Zone → Settings → Reset all data
• Or uninstall the app from your device

All data is stored on-device only. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data.

8. Data security

All data is stored locally using your device's built-in secure storage. The parent PIN is stored as a cryptographic hash — the original PIN cannot be recovered from the stored value. We do not have access to your device or its data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
