How do I open a capsule?
Capsules open automatically when their unlock date arrives. You will receive a notification. Tap the glowing jar on your Timeline to open it.
Can I delete a capsule after sealing it?
Yes — long-press a sealed capsule within 24 hours of creating it to delete it. After 24 hours, capsules are permanent. This is by design — part of what makes a time capsule meaningful is its permanence.
What happens to my capsule if I delete the app?
Your capsules are stored securely in the cloud. Reinstall the app and sign back in to access them. Deleting the app does not delete your data.
Can I add more than one photo to a capsule?
Currently each capsule supports one photo. Multi-photo support is planned for a future update.
How do voice notes work?
Record your voice directly in the app when composing a capsule. When you open the capsule, you will hear your past self speak. Voice notes require a voice and photo capsule credit (included in the 5 Memory Pack or Unlimited plan).
What is the 5 Memory Pack?
A one-time purchase of 5 credits for voice and photo capsules. Use them at any time — they never expire.
What does Unlimited include?
Unlimited voice and photo capsules, forever. One-time purchase of $9.99. No subscription, no renewal, no catch.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Open the app, go to Compose, tap Add Photo or Record Voice, and use the "Restore purchases" option on the paywall screen.
